Girls Basketball: One day after Christmas, La Salle senior Kaden Cortes made some impressive school history. The Lancers guard scored 12 first-half points, including half of her program’s four 3-pointers. That led LSHS to a 61-28 victory over La Serna in the first round of the Glendora Tournament. Those 12 points put her exactly at the 1,000-point mark for her career. Perhaps even more special, though, Cortes was part of the program’s 98th win. …
