- On Saturday, Kyle Chrisley, 35, was arrested in Rutherford County, Tennessee, and booked into Rutherford County Jail on multiple charges including domestic assault and resisting arrest.
- Ashleigh Nelson, Kyle's wife, called deputies after following him in her vehicle and reporting he was `belligerent` and walking in the roadway, prompting Rutherford County Sheriff's Office to respond Saturday.
- Sgt. Brady Greene, Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, said Kyle Chrisley became immediately aggressive, charged at deputies, and began throwing punches, leading to a physical altercation with OC Spray used and three deputies injured.
- Prosecutors charged Kyle with three counts of felony retaliation, three counts of felony assault on first responders, and he was released on $88,500 bond with a Jan. 27, 2026, hearing.
- Kyle's legal troubles stretch back to 2013, including a September 2024 aggravated assault arrest, and in August he filed the $1.7 million lawsuit against Rutherford County; his parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were recently pardoned by President Donald Trump.
