Until 2027, Denmark will transfer up to 300 foreign prisoners to a special detention centre in Kosovo, in accordance with a recently ratified agreement by the Kosovo authorities. The detainees will not be convicted of terrorism or war crimes, and after the execution of the sentences, they will be excommunicated in the countries of origin.
