With the entry into force of the European Union (EU) Pact on Migration and Asylum last week, Interior Minister Vladislav Kondratovich says that this will change the procedures for checking illegal secondary migrants, but not the principled policy of turnbacks applied by Lithuania at the Belarusian border.
Lithuania will continue to push migrants away from its border with Belarus despite the entry into force of the EU's migration and asylum pact, Interior Minister Vladislavas Kondratovičius announced.
