Knoxville Area Urban League relies on sponsors for Shoes for School to help continue the mission

The Shoes for School event provides free shoes and supplies to school-age children, boosting confidence for the new school year.

Helping Hands starts school supply collection

The annual Helping Hands School Start Program has begun, and the group is collecting supplies for children in need within the local district for the upcoming school year.  Collection boxes and posters with lists of needed supplies may be found at the noted sponsors.     Full text available to subscribers only.
