JAPAN, AUG 5 – The Nintendo Switch 2 edition enhances Kirby and the Forgotten Land with new transformations, a tougher boss rush, and a story expansion called Star-Crossed World, launching August 28, 2025.
- On August 28, 2025, Nintendo will launch Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World for Switch 2, featuring new Mouthful Modes.
- Since the original March 2022 release, the Switch 2 version offers improved graphics, frame rates, and adds the Star-Crossed World expansion.
- Trailer details three new Mouthful Modes including Gear Mouth and Sign Mouth, with Gear Mouth allowing wall sticking and vertical rolling, and Sign Mouth turning Kirby into a downhill sledge.
