Contributed Kinston went whole hog on Saturday, apparently setting a Guinness World Record for the most pulled pork barbecue sandwiches sold in eight hours. The NC Pork Council and Smithfield Foods teamed up with the BBQ Fest on the Neuse on Saturday to sell a total of 4,775 pulled pork sandwiches, all of them slow-cooked by some of the best pitmasters in the state.
