- During an unannounced visit to the school, the Minister observed poor conditions in classrooms and hostels, alongside unauthorized use of the premises as a paid car park, which he subsequently ordered cancelled.
- While the King's College Old Boys Association expressed willingness to invest substantial funds, Alausa highlighted security concerns regarding public access associated with the proposed arrangement.
- Federal authorities will continue dialogue with unions regarding these management changes, as the administration remains committed to restoring the quality and reputation of these institutions for all Nigerians.
