- The operation first led to the arrest of two initial suspects and later produced seven additional suspects with a locally made pistol recovered.
- Authorities said the suspects are currently in custody and investigations are ongoing; police investigators will charge them in court upon completing the probe.
- During interrogation suspects allegedly confessed the monarch was killed on March 2 and led security operatives to recover the remains, which were deposited in a morgue for autopsy.
