The Kia PV5 Cargo electric van drove 430.8 miles on a single charge with full payload in a 22.5-hour urban logistics simulation, setting a new Guinness World Record.
- On September 30, 2025, Kia's PV5 Cargo L2H1 completed a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD run in Frankfurt, Germany, covering 430.84 miles on a single charge powered by a 71.2 kWh battery.
- As a debut for the Platform Beyond Vehicle line-up, Kia designed the run to demonstrate real-world capability by proving the Kia PV5 Cargo can perform while carrying its maximum payload.
- The route was a 58.2 km loop with around 370 metres elevation gain, repeated 12 times over 22 hours and 30 minutes, verified by T�V Hessen and buck Vermessung.
- With up to 790kg payload and 4.4m3 load space, the Kia PV5 Cargo L2H1 used its maximum payload for the record, while internal tests show adding 220 lbs cuts range by only around 1.5%.
