Kernel cheer sets another school record, finishes ninth at state meet

WATERTOWN — The Mitchell High School competitive cheer team set a school record to cap the season on Saturday at the Class AA state meet at the Watertown Civic Arena. Mitchell scored 247.5 points, good for ninth place out of 19 teams at the competition. It's the fourth time this season that the Kernels have upped the MHS record for team score at a meet.
