Following the controversial practice of Novo Mesto orthopedist Gregor Kavčič, who artificially extended waiting lists and diverted patients to private institutions, the hospital management has finally cleared the waiting list. There are 517 fewer patients on it, and only a few will be on the waiting list in 2033. The orthopedist in question is now officially suing the hospital.
