For some farmers across Lyon County, this year’s wheat harvest turnout is much higher than average.

Warm weather throughout Kansas continues to impact crop conditions. The USDA says 77 percent of corn is silking, 36 percent in the dough stage, and rated 66 percent good-to-excellent.
