Francis Vuillemin, the lawyer of the principal accused of the trial of ISIS jailers, appealed this Monday, March 31 for his client. Mehdi Nemmouche had been sentenced on March 21 to life imprisonment.

The Paris Special Assize Court granted this sentence a 22-year security period, during which he will not be able to apply for early release.

The jihadist is accused of violent kidnapping of hostages within the Islamic State.
