The Marseille Public Prosecutor's Office announced on Wednesday 22 October that it had placed two of them in pre-trial detention. The trio is suspected of having been involved in the death of a Chechen and a Niçois in early October in the Azurean city.
A shooting in the Moulins priority district in Nice resulted in two deaths and five injuries on 3 October. The Marseille Public Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation, among other things, for "killings" and "attempt to murder organized gangs".
