Jury selection is complete for the trial of a man who attempted to kidnap a Mecca teenager.

Lina Robles Jury selection concluded yesterday in court for the trial of a 21-year-old man who was arrested in 2022 as a suspect in attempting to kidnap a Thermal teenager as she walked home from school. Christian Arreola of Coachella faces charges of attempted kidnapping and his intent to sexually abuse the minor. The trial is set to begin next Monday, while he remains in jail in Banning.
