Jury reaches verdict in retrial of man accused of assaulting Boardman officer

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A jury in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Thursday found a man on trial for the second time for assaulting a Boardman police officer guilty. Sentencing has not been set yet for Damian Cessna, 28, of Austintown, who was convicted of a count of felonious assault, a first-degree felony.
