Jury chosen, opening statements underway in Lil’ Wayne state fair concert assault trial

MINOT, ND (KXNET) — A jury has been selected in the trial of a man accused of assaulting a woman at a North Dakota State Fair concert in 2024. Opening statements are currently underway in the case against Jaeger Lundeen. Judge Richard Hagar said one witness is expected to be called before the court recesses for the day.  Investigators say the assault happened near the Grandstand during the Lil Wayne concert.
