A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit alleging that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints misused hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations by investing it instead of using it for charitable purposes.
Tithing Class Action Dismissed
Last Thursday, the Salt Lake Tribune reported (Patreon link here), a federal judge in Utah dismissed a proposed class action against the church. The plaintiffs made claims similar to James Huntsman, whose suit was recently dismissed.
