Judge bars firing of intelligence officers working on DEI issues

A U.S. District Judge Anthony Trenga has delayed the firing of 11 CIA employees for at least the next five days due to a lawsuit filed by former CIA officer Kevin Carroll, who represents the workers.

According to their attorney, Kevin Sullivan, the firings violated CIA procedures and the Administrative Procedures Act, as the employees were given options to leave the agency under pressure.
Sullivan claims that the firings are based on assumptions about the employees' political beliefs, asserting, 'These people are being fired just because of an assumption that's been made that they are leftists.
