The National Association of Journalists of Bolivia (ANPB) and the nine departmental associations of journalists of the country, expressed their condemnation of the threats and intimidation by representatives of the so-called State of Kailasa against several Bolivian media. According to them, it is unacceptable that an attempt to censor information through illegal and unfounded coercion is being made.

“The actions taken by their representatives, far from having legal validity, constitute an attempt to manipulate and coerce the press, which aggravates the magnitude of these threats,” says a statement by journalists’ associations.
