Former Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made the following statement regarding the CHP's 'trustee' case on June 30: 'The Republican People's Party cannot be handed over to a trustee. The CHP's DNA is currently being tampered with. I cannot allow this, we cannot allow it.'
Kılıçdaroğlu said, “Saying ‘I do not recognize’ a court decision has no legal value. If I do not accept the duty, then there is a risk of a trustee. I hope such a decision will not be made.”
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu gave an interview to TGRT Haber, which has attracted criticism for its publications targeting the opposition and for ‘informing’ about investigations in advance and is on the CHP’s boycott list. Kılıçdaroğlu listed his criticisms of the CHP administration.
