A winter storm warning has been placed into effect for the metro. These are issued when the risk of at least 5" of snow is there and that's what we have for at least parts of the metro tonight into Wednesday morning. The bulk of the snow (where it's not snowing now) will come tomorrow afternoon and night before things wind down. The air is nasty cold and that means the snow will be powdery and fluffy.
