MARINA, CALIFORNIA, JUL 15 – The expanded Marina facility will produce up to 24 electric air taxis annually and supports testing, certification, and pilot training to prepare for commercial launch.
- Joby Aviation announced on July 15, 2025, that it expanded its Marina, California facility to double aircraft production capacity to 24 per year.
- This expansion followed Toyota Motor Corp. becoming Joby's largest shareholder in May 2025 and signing a $500 million deal last year to support growth.
