Michael Sheen Fears Career Could Put Him at a Disadvantage on Celebrity Traitors
Claudia Winkleman hosts 21 celebrities in the second series, with the final winner set to earn up to £100,000 for charity.
On Thursday, October 1, The Celebrity Traitors launches on BBC One and iPlayer, with 21 celebrities competing for up to £100,000 for charity at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.
A star-studded roster includes Actor Michael Sheen, Actor Richard E. Grant, and Actor Miranda Hart alongside five comedians, with the extended 75-minute opening episode airing twice weekly on Thursdays and Fridays.
In a format twist, host Claudia Winkleman selected only two Traitors initially: Maya Jama and Grant, who then recruited Amol Rajan and James Acaster as potential team members to join them.
Actor Michael Sheen expressed concern that his profession creates a disadvantage, saying people assume actors are "natural-born liars," while supermodel Jerry Hall, 70, declared confidence in remaining active throughout.
Spanning ten episodes and concluding on October 30, the BBC expects strong engagement following last year's finale, which attracted over 15 million viewers and became a major ratings success.
