A Japan-linked vessel has successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz and is heading home after direct talks between Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Tokyo said on May 14.

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi stated on the 14th that one Japanese-affiliated vessel staying in the Persian Gulf safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz on the 14th and evacuated out of the Persian Gulf, and is currently sailing toward Japan.
