Federico Ricci, the technician hospitalized after being crushed in an elevator shaft, died
Federico Ricci, the 30-year-old technician from Brescia who was hit by the counterweight two days ago while working in the elevator shaft of a building in Carugate, in Milan, died at the Niguarda hospital in Milan. The counterweight had first hit him in the head and then crushed him. Ricci worked for Elma di Flero, a company that produces elevators.
