Jackson Willette wins special Hills city council election by four votes

Lang 5/15/25 The city of Hills has filled a vacancy on its city council…with a winning margin of just four votes. Only 92 residents voted in Tuesday’s special election. Jackson Willette won with 36 votes. He was followed by Julian Bujanowski with 32 and Patrick Muller, who earned 23 votes. Turnout was only 15.1%. The Johnson County Auditor’s Office says all absentee ballots have been returned, and zero provisional ballots were cast.
