Jack Kooistra (94) passed away, man who tracked down 'Schrik van Roden'

Frisian journalist Jack Kooistra passed away today at the age of 94, his family reported to Omrop Fryslân. Kooistra, also known as the 'Nazi hunter', was the one who managed to track down war criminal Jacob Luitjes, also known as 'De Schrik van Roden'. As a child, Kooistra started keeping track of the names of soldiers who died during the Second World War. He continued to do so throughout his life. In 2019, he had almost 180,000 cards with names…
