- Deans, Heads of Departments, NCC, and NSS volunteers participated in the event, carrying the National Flag and raising patriotic slogans while marching around the campus in a coordinated display of national pride.
- Separately, The BJP's Srinagar unit organized a rally at Dal Lake to mark upcoming Independence Day festivities, emphasizing remembrance of freedom fighters' sacrifices while celebrating with national pride.
- Ahead of August 15, organizers urge citizens to take a "Viksit Bharat" pledge and celebrate with "aan, baan, shaan" to honor freedom fighters and strengthen commitment to the nation.
