- Political leaders demanded accountability from the Shrine Board and a high-level probe, while the Yatra remained suspended for the fourth day with pilgrims stranded in Katra offered free hotel stays.
- The panel, led by Additional Chief Secretary Shaleen Kabra , with Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Inspector General of Police Jammu, must submit its report within two weeks to the Lieutenant Governor.
