Terrion Arnold Works Out for AFC Playoff Team
His agent said four teams have reached out as he works out and takes visits while facing kidnapping and robbery charges.
On Friday, agent Nicole Lynn confirmed that four NFL teams—the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, and Houston Texans—have expressed interest in signing free agent Cornerback Terrion Arnold.
The Detroit Lions released Arnold on June 29 after he faced felony kidnapping and armed robbery charges stemming from a February incident in Largo, Florida involving three men.
Chief Judge Christopher C. Sabella ruled on Friday that Arnold need not wear an ankle monitor, enabling him to attend team workouts and pursue NFL opportunities while awaiting trial.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Arnold completed a physical with the Texans on Thursday and is scheduled to visit two additional teams next week, with Lynn saying a "very good likelihood" he signs within 45 days.
A 2024 NFL draft pick out of Alabama, Arnold faces potential life imprisonment if convicted, yet his talent continues drawing league interest as training camps begin later this month.
