Italy summons Israeli ambassador after shots fired at UN in Lebanon
No one was injured when warning shots damaged an Italian vehicle, and Rome said the convoy was clearly marked with the U.N. flag.

- UNIFIL comprised about 7,500 peacekeepers as of March 30, with Italy contributing more than 750 soldiers. The incident risks compromising the mission's credibility and the safety of all UNIFIL personnel.
