Last night, the last withdrawal of military personnel from Baghdad took place. "There were still special forces on the ground to protect the Italian ambassador who wanted to stay, as well as to secure the embassy. All the other soldiers have returned. We are also doing the same with the unnecessary personnel in other areas of operation: the security of our soldiers has top priority, in coordination with the US, NATO and Europe, the minister said.
