El Veneziano).- The Ministry of the Interior of Italy has prohibited self-registration in all forms of tourist accommodation, especially those of short duration, such as those offered by the US company Airbnb, to combat excessive tourism, local media reported on Tuesday. Specifically, key boxes, widely used so that guests can access short-term rental housing without having to meet with the owners, are prohibited.
