It's getting harder and harder to pull off something new in the advertising industry every year, but McDonald's has now succeeded: according to an article in Il Giornale dell'Arte, "excavation work on a Roman mosaic" began on May 28th in the Galleria Alberto Sordi in the heart of Rome, and the operation, which seemed more and more surreal by the hour, was completed the next day.
