The nationwide average price for a gallon of gas has risen eight cents in the last week. According to AAA, the average price today is $3.21, still more than 20 cents lower than a year ago. Regional prices have not jumped quite as much. Missouri’s average price is $2.86, up just three cents from last week. Arkansas’ price is up six cents at $2.85.
