Israel doubles troops in Hezbollah fight, searches homes in south Lebanon
Israel aims to clear Hezbollah from southern Lebanon with over twice the troops deployed since March 1, amid nearly 1,000 Lebanese deaths reported by authorities.
- A senior Israeli commander said on Wednesday Israel has more than doubled troops along the Lebanese border since March 1 and is searching homes in evacuated southern Lebanese villages.
