ISP: Teen taken into custody for reckless homicide after fatal shooting of 14-year-old
Indiana State Police said the suspect was taken into custody at the scene and charged with reckless homicide after the victim died from a head wound.
- On Sunday, April 19, 2026, Salem Police Department officers responded to a home on East Oak Drive and found 14-year-old Jameson Crawford dead from a gunshot wound to the head; a second 14-year-old was arrested at the scene.
