AN Irishman has been found dead in a police cell on the Costa del Sol.

A man in his 30s arrested for gender-based violence has been found dead while in police custody at the Torremolinos Police Station (Malaga). According to police sources, the officers found the man on the morning of Friday, March 15 and could not do anything to save his life. After confirming the death of the man, whose nationality has not been transcended, the police activated the judicial entourage.
