The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday that a new no-ship zone will extend from the port of Chabahar into the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea, Reuters reported. Iran has previously announced the creation of such a zone. Maps of the Strait of Hormuz transit routes are also expected to be approved soon.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard has threatened this Wednesday to attack ten U.S. targets in the Middle East for every U.S. bombing of the country, following a new exchange of attacks between the two countries and the stalemate in the diplomatic track.
The Revolutionary Guard raises pressure on Washington following the U.S. attack on five Iranian oil tankers and conditions the end of the escalation to the lifting of the naval blockade and changes in U.S. regional policy.
