The Council of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will hold an extraordinary meeting this afternoon in Vienna to deal with the situation in Iran, attacked by Israel and the United States.
Diplomats say there is no indication that Iranian nuclear facilities were hit on Saturday.
The IAEA Board of Governors (International Atomic Energy Agency), a nuclear surveillance body of the United Nations (UN Organization), will hold an emergency meeting tomorrow afternoon (2) to discuss United States and Israel's attacks on Iran on Saturday (28), informed the agency in communication. The meeting was requested by Russia. Any member of the Council may convene a meeting.
Iran's permanent representative at the UN headquarters in Vienna asked the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to organize a "extraordinary and urgent meeting" in response to the attacks launched by Israel and the United States against Iran.
