- In the December quarter Apple Inc. reclaimed the top spot in China as shipments climbed 7.5%, with the iPhone 17 generation accounting for one in every five shipments, Counterpoint Research said.
- The Xiaomi 17 series managed only 3.08 million sales while Huawei Technologies Co. and Xiaomi Corp. recorded double-digit drops, widening the competitive gap with domestic rivals.
- Counterpoint analysts expect memory prices to rise 40%–50% in Q1 2026 and around 20% in Q2 2026, while IDC projects the market could contract by 2.9% or as much as 5.2.
