A Rexburg, Idaho man, 21-year-old Sam Ivan Robins, has been deemed competent to stand trial for charges stemming from a three-vehicle accident in March, during his competency hearing in Logan’s First District Court Monday.

Hunter 05/22/25 An Iowa City man was taken into custody after being wanted for leaving the scene of an injury accident in March. The incident involved 29-year-old Javier Rosales Aviles of Paddock Circle.  According to the police report, on Saturday March 29th at 10:22pm, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of North 1st Avenue on reports of a motor vehicle crash with injury.  The occupant of one of the vehicles suffered significant injury.…
