Investigation underway after fire at vacant Lafayette building

LAFAYETTE, LA (KLFY) – A commercial fire broke out earlier this morning at a vacant metal building in the 1300 block of SE Evangeline Thruway, firefighters said. According to firefighters, upon arrival they discovered a small smoldering fire inside the unsecured building.
