After ten months of rehabilitation, Joe Claridge (38) will finally return home on Friday. The Briton, who worked as an intern at the Antwerp star restaurant The Jane, lost his legs after a collision with star chef Nick Bril (40). Will he attend his trial? "That remains to be seen," says his lawyer.

The victim who was run over by Dutch star chef Nick Bril last year is allowed to continue his rehabilitation at home, several Belgian media report. Bril ran over the employee of his restaurant The Jane in Antwerp in the parking lot as he was leaving after a New Year's party in January 2024.
