Khrzhanovsky Brings Long-Awaited ‘DAU’ to Venice Following Ukraine Row
The Ukrainian government says the selection sends a worrying signal as the project faces renewed scrutiny over Russian funding and alleged ties to Putin's network.

- Venice artistic director Alberto Barbera defended the selection, calling Khrzhanovsky a "Russian dissident" who opposed the invasion. DAU competes for the Golden Lion award, presented on Saturday.
