The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 0.6% in April compared to the previous month and cut its annual rate by one tenth, to 2.2%, its lowest value since last October, when it stood at 1.8%, according to the definitive data published on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), which coincides with those advanced at the end of last month.
