INE Confirms Contraction of the First Quarter of 0.5% in Chain Evolution and Rise of 1.6% in Homologous Terms

The INE confirmed the contraction of the Portuguese economy in the first quarter of the last quarter of last year.

Portugal's gross domestic product fell by 0.5 percent quarter-on-quarter in the first quarter

The GDP grew by 1.6% in terms of homologous terms and received 0.5% in chains in the first quarter. An increase in private consumption was recorded, while investment accelerated.
