- Strengthening trade resilience involves expanding Free Trade Agreements, Sitharaman stated, while recent Union Budgets emphasize strategic sectors including semiconductors, electronics, and biopharmaceuticals.
- Banks registered 2,15,709 cases under SARFAESI in FY25, Sitharaman noted, successfully recovering Rs 32,466 crore of the total amount involved.
- These measures support India's long-term vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, bolstering medium-term growth prospects through prudent fiscal management and continued strategic investment.
